THE PAINTED PEACOCK MURAL DAY ONE

Another incredible day here in Udaipur, India! I’ve been working on the collaborative Painted Peacock Project Mural which is gradually appearing on a wall beside a busy road where people are walking, on push bikes, motorbikes, tuktuks and even the odd cow – and I tell you, the traffic here is all about plenty of tooting! The first day was seven hours work and which got me half way through with help from fellow peahens Ema and Cathy and our man on the ground Rajesh Soni, while Sacha and was busy documenting and keeping our followers on social media up to date.

The locals caught on to what was happening and a crowd gathered throughout the first day watching the mural emerge. To add to the atmosphere it also got up to a humid 28 degrees. Hot work! My cold kingfisher beer at the end of the day was epic!
