Kia Ora friends! Exciting new project on the go! PangeaSeed Foundation is a super rad, non profit which brings together culture and environmentalism to spread important messages in creative new ways. They’ve joined forces with the Napier City Council and Alternative Arts Initiative to bring Sea Walls: Artists for Oceans to Napier again this year from March 19 – 26.

If you saw it in action last year, you’ll know what an amazing festival this is. The city fills up with large scale murals created by artists from around the globe who care about our oceans and want to help. There’s also tons of cultural events and discussions, live art demos, film screenings, field trips, you name it.

This March I’m honoured to be one of the artists rolling up their sleeves and sending some love to our oceans. Such an inspiring task! The theme for my mural is New Zealand marine mammals. I’d love to see you there, but if you can’t make it to the Hawke’s Bay for the festival you can still watch my mural unfold online. I’ll be updating this blog post with photos for you as I go.
