A bold new mural for Health Pak, brought to life with the help of @sweats___. This piece features two of Aotearoa’s most iconic birds — the Tūī from my Homebound series and the Huia, a species now lost but still deeply woven into our cultural memory.
I wanted this wall to hold a sense of contrast —. The tūī, vibrant and full of voice, layered in detail and movement. The huia, no longer with us, but still a powerful symbol of what we must protect.
Painted in rich, saturated colour, this mural is a tribute to our native taonga and the stories they continue to carry.
