The FLOX Lily In The Cut Range is a selection of hand cut artworks representing the essence of the artist’s craft.In this collection, the stencil becomes the artwork in it’s own right, allowing for the simplicity and sophistication of the artists’ cut outs to be celebrated.
The artworks are a celebration of New Zealand’s environmental taonga, and are meticulously hand cut into Fabriano archival paper stock.
Six iconic birds of Aotearoa including the Tūī, Kererū, Fantail, Kōkako, Kingfisher and South Island Robin form the range, and are each form-fitted with intricate Rengarenga (Rock Lily) botanicals and Kōwhai leaves.
Choose to take unframed, or frame with a float mount box frame, accentuating the play on shadows as the light travels through the cuts of the stencil.
